AUTOMATIC MEASUREMENTS – MODULATED MODE
The Modulated mode is most often used to measure the true average power of a signal on a continuous basis. The average
readings reflect the filtered average value. The peak readings are affected by the Chan # > Exten > Peak Hold setting. If peak
pressing the Top Level > Display > CLEAR menu key. If peak
Chan # > Exten > Filter setting. For memory channels, the
peak value displayed is the peak value at the time the waveform was stored.
The peak-to-average reading is always in dB units and is not measured on External Trigger channels.
